Remembrance Day

Each year, the Township of Oro-Medonte gathers to pay tribute to the bravery and sacrifices of those who served in the Canadian Armed Forces. This Remembrance Day, we not only recognize the contributions of veterans but also highlight the often-overlooked role of Black settlers in shaping our nation's history. The ceremony will include a moment of silence, wreath-laying, and reflections from community leaders, offering a time for remembrance, gratitude, and education. As we come together to honor the past, we reaffirm our commitment to preserving these stories for future generations.
